Personal History:

Captain Gman was born in 1980 and began his flying days with JG13.  After about a year flying with Loki's Kinder (JG13), his schedule became such that he had to find another squadron.  As a college student in Massachusetts, he happened upon the RAC aerodrome and was instantly taken by the surroundings and people.  His RAC career began as a 2nd Lt and "goat assistant" to Nomo and Foofy.

Seven months into his RAC service, Gman took leave of absence to attend U.S. Army training.  By the time he rejoined the squadron, he was stationed in the Republic of Korea.  This timezone enabled Gman (now a Captain) to join the RAC's feared ANZAC flight.  He flew in many RBWL 2001 missions and several others with the ANZAC Flight until April 2002, when he was "banished" to Oklahoma.

Gman's real life counterpart married in September of 2002, which meant a move "off base" into married quarters.  This enabled Gman to establish a high speed internet connection, which he enjoyed until what he describes as "the great Windows XP debacle of 2003" - due to complications with WinXP, Gman was unable to resume regular flying until late 2004.  He joined RAC's Command Team in January 2005, was promoted to Major and became one of RAC's respected Assistant Training Officers.  During that year, Gman was part of our championship-winning RBWL VI team.

His real-life role in the army kept Gman busy for most of 2006 and prevented him from taking part in either of the major competitions we entered.   Finally, active duty called him to Iraq in the autumn.  When at home, Gman flies from Fort Hood, Texas and is an Army Sergeant in the Public Affairs Career Field.  His photos and articles can be found on the 13 Corps Support Command website here:  http://www.hood.army.mil/13coscom
