Personal History:

Captain Biggles writes: "I flew under this name after the fictional book character of aviation exploits.  RAC pilots Algy and Ginger took the names of the fictional Biggles' two wingmen.  I may have an appalling war and medal record for one of my rank, but that doesn't mean I didn't do anything!  I was  active for over three years but wasn't able to participate in many wars.  However, during my period of active service, I formed and led an unofficial RAC Stunt Corps."

Captain Biggles is now retired from active service and lives in Newcastle, Australia.
