Personal History:
Major Big Bertha writes:
"Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada on December 6th 1954. I grew up in Pictou, NS - Now reside in Windsor, NS. I graduated from Acadia University with a BSc in 1978."
"Job History:
Mostly a marine draftsman/checker on the east coast of Canada and one year in
Seattle USA. I'm currently a checker in a steel detailing office mostly
into bridges and large steel structures. I am married to a wonderful woman
and have two beautiful daughters."
Major Big Bertha is one of the squadron's finest and most experienced long range bombers with a substantial list of awards and honours to prove it. A strong candidate for the accolade of "Mr Dependable", he is also a more-than-able fighter pilot whenever required to switch into that role. Big Bertha was a member of RAC's winning team in RBWL VI (2005) and won a commendation medal for his services as a Field Marshal in that competition.
During 2006 he performed successfully in both War Forces and RBWL VII and augmented his duties by volunteering to assist Dogbreath with much of the planning and organising of our efforts in the latter competition. He was also our Team representative in RBWL VII and continues in the current (2007) command team.
