Personal History:
Captain Absolut, the RAC's best-known spelling mistake, has returned from leave and is now terrorising the enemy in his customary fashion. The spirits of the RAC Nursing Corps seem to have collectively risen as a result of his return to active duty. The captain was recently relieved of his former task of ordering wines and spirits for the RAC Officer's Mess after a number of empty bottles of overproof vodka were discovered in the nurses' quarters.
Absolut was a member of the RAC's winning Red Baron World League VI team in 2005. In 2006 he participated in War Forces V and the defence of our World League title, earning several medals in the process.
